If one of today's big verdicts was all too predictable, the second announcement that saw America wait with baited breath was quite a revelation.
Teen bride Courtney Stodden, 17 , had volunteered to undergo a special TV ultrasound on Dr Drew's Lifechangers to prove that she hasn't benefited from any plastic surgery.
Ever since she rapidly rose to fame by marrying 51-year-old actor Doug Hutchison, Stodden has had to fend off reports that her rather striking looks have been surgically enhanced.

Her large breasts, which are disproportionate to her tiny frame, have been widely accepted to be the result of an augmentation operation.

After what seemed like a damning false start, when a spherical object was spotted underneath the muscle and tissue on one of Stodden's breasts by plastic surgeon Dr John Diaz, the blonde was unbowed.
Dr Drew suggested that it could be an implant.
'Unless someone drugged me and did the operation without me knowing, it isn't,' Stodden announced defiantly as her husband shuffled awkwardly in the glare of the cameras.
But without fully seeking to explain the unidentified object, a scan from another angle seemed enough to confirm that Stodden's orbs are fully authentic.

Stodden didn't manage to wriggle out of all plastic surgery accusations, however.
While she was found to have had no major work done on her face, her inability to raise her eyebrows or wrinkle her eyes fully seemed to prove she'd used Botox.
She didn't agree or disagree, sometimes seeming barely aware of what was actually going on.
'I've had nothing. A knife has never touched this body,' she and told them before the examination began.

As Beliebers still recover from the shock that Mariah Yeater claims their idol is the father of her child, she has given her first ever TV interview.

The 20-year-old has been dressed to look young and innocent, with minimal make-up and a white shirt beneath her pink sweater, unlike the controversial topless pictures of her which emerged last week.

It is difficult to tell from her body language what the truth is, but Yeater is close to tears as she explains Justin Bieber went from 'cute and gushy to aggressive' during their liasion in a backstage toilet last year.

In the exclusive interview with The Insider, the Californian reinforces the claims that the Baby singer fathered her four-month-old son Tristyn.

Yeater gave birth following the alleged incident with the Canadian star, which reportedly occurred following 30 seconds of unprotected sex in a VIP bathroom at the Staples Center in LA after a concert in October 2010.

Michael Jackson's private doctor Conrad Murray was found guilty today of killing the King of Pop.

Dr Conrad Murray was led out of court in handcuffs after being remanded without bail to await his sentencing on November 29

The 58-year-old cardiologist faces up to four years behind bars after the jury at Los Angeles Superior Court convicted him of involuntary manslaughter.

Murray was handcuffed by officers in the courtroom and led out by bailiffs. He is being held without bail until his November 29th sentencing

Wearing a grey pin-striped suit and a blue tie, Murray looked stunned as the jury's decision was read out after two days and ten hours of deliberations.

Just as he has through most of the trial, Murray remained stoic as Judge Michael Pastor dismissed an appeal for him to be released on bail pending his sentencing hearing.

A sheriff's deputy leaned over while Murray sat at the defence table and handcuffed him before leading him out of the court to the cells.

Jackson's sister, La Toya, screamed out when the verdict was read out and her older sister, Rebbie, held her head in her hands.

No one appeared more stunned by the guilty verdict than Conrad Murray himself, who looked understandably distraught as he was put in cuffs. one his daughters sat crying in a row behind him

Randy was closest to the jury and 17 members of Jackson family in all were sitting in the court. He massaged mother, Katherine's shoulders as she cried after the verdict was read out.

Outside the court, hundreds of Jackson fans cheered when they heard the verdict.

Judge Pastor said Murray's 'reckless conduct' meant he was a danger to the public.

Leaving the court, Jermaine Jackson said: 'Justice was served, but it wasn't enough time. Michael is with us.'

Sister LaToya, wiping back tears, added: 'Thank you America, thank you everyone.

Everybody was wonderful. Michael loves everybody. He was in that courtroom with us - that's why justice was served.

Older sister Rebbe said: 'I am just happy it's all over. Nothing will bring Michael back but I am just happy that he was found guilty.'

Prosecutor David Walgren thanked the 'diligent' jury. 'Our sympathies go out to the Jackson family for the loss they have suffered. Not as a pop icon but as a son and a brother,' he added.

Prosecutors said the conviction meant Murray would automatically lose his medical licence.

LaToya Jackson later tweeted 'VICTORY'.

Murray's lawyers said they weren't planning to make any official statement after the hearing, but Ed Chernoff said he was 'not shocked' at the verdict.

He said he was planning to request another bail hearing to try and get Murray released while he awaits his November 29 sentencing.

Murray's mother and his girlfriend, former exotic dancer Nicole Alvarez, refused to comment outside the court.

Murray nodded to them before being led off to jail.

The verdict came after nearly 50 witnesses, 22 days of testimony and less than two days of deliberation by a jury of seven men and five women.

Announcing the verdict, the judge thanked the jurors for their civic duty.

'You have undertaken the responsibility in a remarkable fashion. You have made sacrifices and had to endures burdens, delays and a case that ran over the time I had told you you would have to serve.

'You have been remarkable in conscientiousness, patience, respect and never been late. For that we are very appreciative. I know that serving on a case of this sort interferes with everyday life and I personally thanks you for your time and efforts.'

In what was billed as the most closely watched celebrity trial in history, a procession of witnesses gave starkly contrasting views of the 58-year-old doctor.

During the trial, prosecutors painted Murray as a greedy opportunist who threw his medical knowhow out of the window to cater to the dangerously bizarre whims of a superstar.

The defence painted him as a caring cardiologist battling against the odds to help his celebrity patient from self-destructing.

But after six weeks of evidence, the jurors agreed on one crucial factor - that Murray was responsible for Jackson's death.

In the end it came down to the fact that the doctor acted with criminal negligence in administering a deadly dose of propofol to the star who was desperate to get some sleep to rehearse for his looming comeback tour at London's O2 Arena.

Murray was accused of botching any hopes of reviving the star by delaying more than 20 minutes before calling 911 for help after discovering Jackson lifeless on his bed on June 25, 2009.

Then he lied about using propofol - a powerful drug that is only supposed to be used in a hospital setting - to cover up his guilt, keeping the fact that he used the sedative from paramedics and emergency room doctors.

One medical expert outlined seventeen separate failures in the accepted standards of care in Murray's treatment of the 50-year-old singer, each of which could have possibly played a part in his death.

Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney David Walgren told the jury they needed to agree on just one life threatening blunder to find him guilty.

He said Murray's use of propofol to treat Jackson's chronic insomnia was an 'obscene experiment'.

Walgren rejected claims that Jackson was falling apart and hooked on painkiller drugs and insisted that the 50-year-old star was excited and optimistic about his future and was planning to buy a new, stable home for his family and end their nomadic 'vagabond' lifestyle.

The trial started sensationally with a photo of Jackson's dead body lying on a hospital gurney shown to the jury during opening arguments. A shocking tape of Jackson's slurred voice was also played in the courtroom on the first day.

Prosecutors then quizzed a series of witnesses who offered damning accounts of Murray's care for Jackson in the final months, days and hours of his life.

As it proceeded, the trial came more down to a battle of the scientists who argued over the dangers and benefits of propofol.

One of the key battles of the experts was between two anaesthesiologists.

Prosecution star witness Dr Steven Shafer was scathing about the dangers Murray exposed Jackson to by using propofol without the proper equipment or staff, but he was branded a 'cop' by the defence for his zealous testimony.

Dr Paul White, testifying for the prosecution, was lambasted by Walgren for his flimsy research and the 'junk science' he used to try and explain how Jackson could have caused his own death by self-administering propofol while Murray left the bedside to go to the toilet.

The defence insisted Murray was cast as a scapegoat by the authorities who needed someone to blame for the tragedy.

'Somebody's got to say it: If it were anybody else but Michael Jackson, if it were anybody else, would this doctor be here today?' defence lawyer Ed Chernoff said in his closing argument on Thursday.

Chernoff said Murray was under immense pressure to administer the knock-out drug from Jackson and the promoters of the lucrative sell-out comeback concerts. Jackson himself even threatened to cancel the tour if he couldn't get enough sleep to rehearse.

'He was just a little fish in a big dirty pond,' said Chernoff.

Murray chose not to go on the stand, perhaps fearing he would harm his case still further under harsh examination from the prosecution. He showed little emotion despite being excoriated by some witnesses, but his lawyers sought to show him as a sympathetic figure and summoned a number of former heart patients to vouch for his expertise and generosity.

Despite speculation to the contrary, Jackson's children, Prince, 14, Paris, 13 and nine-year-old Blanket did not give evidence and were kept away from the spectacle surrounding the trial.

But Walgren focused on the children's loss in his closing speech to the jury, blaming Murray for robbing them of their father.

'For them, this case doesn't end today or tomorrow or the next day,' he said. 'For Michael's children, this case will go on forever because they do not have a father.'

Jackson's parents, Joe and Katherine, and siblings Janet, LaToya, Jermaine and Randy were regularly in the public gallery on the ninth floor of the Los Angeles Superior Court building while Murray's mother watched from the other side of the public gallery.

Every day, Jackson fans lined the street outside the downtown court waving placards and demanding justice for their musical hero.

At Judge Michael Pastor's instigation, the jury was not allowed to hear much about Murray's tangled love life. Although he is married, he has fathered at least seven children with six different women.

His doctor wife lives in Las Vegas with their two children, but the court heard that Murray lives with mistress Nicole Alvarez, a former stripper, in Santa Monica, California.

The little girl, who will be four months old on November 10, was on hand to watch her father and his football team LA Galaxy win their way into the MLS Cup finals in Carson, California yesterday - a first for Beckham during his lucrative $1m-a-week five-year contract with the club.

However, given that Harper has only just started to become a fixture at the games, it could be said that she was something of a good luck charm for her dear old daddy.

His team won 3-1 over Real Salt Lake in the Western Conference final; they will now advance to play in the MLS Cup on November 20.

Clad in an adorable flowered romper, Harper couldn't seem to stop watching her dad on the football pitch.

She looked awestruck by the action on the field and her mother, 37-year-old fashion designer Victoria, focused all of her attention on her daughter.

Harper has been seen quite frequently at LA Galaxy matches lately, proving that it isn't just her big brothers that will grow up loving football.

Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, nine, and six-year-old Cruz are often seen cheering on their superstar father at his games.

Miss World 2011: Miss Venezula, Ivian Lunasol Sarcos Colmenares, has taken the coveted title

A woman who spent five years living in a nunnery and once dreamed of becoming a nun has been crowned Miss World 2011.

Miss Venezuela, Ivian Lunasol Sarcos Colmenares, beat contestants from 113 countries to the coveted title after impressing the judges in the categories of beach beauty, top model, talent, sports, and beauty with a purpose - where the contestants must demonstrate involvement in a charity project.

Ms Sarcos Colmenares, 21, one of 13 siblings, was orphaned at eight and spent five years studying at a nunnery. She dreamed of becoming a nun but her life took a different direction, as she gained a degree in human resources and worked for a broadcasting company before becoming a beauty queen.

She was the favourite for the Miss World title going into the final at Earls Court, London, yesterday evening but reacted with delight and disbelief when she was announced as the winner of the famous beauty pageant. Now she said she wants to use her title to help other people.

She said: 'Winning means everything to me and I hope to take advantage of being a winner in a productive manner. I’m unbelievably happy to have won and there are some incredible girls. I first and foremost want to help people in need. I would like to help people like me. I am an orphan. I would also like to help the elderly and troubled teenagers. As many people as I can.

'Unfortunately I lost both my parents at a very young age which led me to study for five years in a nunnery. I spent my five years in there and my dream was to become a nun.'

Ivian was all smiles as she presented to the judges earlier in the evening, and had shown surprise when she was put through to the final seven - perhaps having no inkling she would later be crowned the winner

The newly crowned Miss World, pictured outside ITV's Daybreak studios, appeared on the breakfast show to talk about her win

Over a billion viewers from around the world tuned into see her crowned the winner, with runner up prizes going to Miss Philippines and Miss Puerto Rico. Fans who were unable to follow the final on television were kept up-to-date on the internet via live streaming and Facebook updates and tweets.

Representing the UK, Miss England, Alize Mounter, and Miss Scotland, Jennifer Reogh, both made it into the top seven. But Miss Wales, Sara Manchipp, and Miss Northern Ireland, Finola Guinnane, did not make it to the semi-final.

This was the 60th year of the beauty pageant and to celebrate its diamond anniversary, it returned to the city where it all began. The first was held in London in 1951 during the Festival of Britain on the South Bank of the River Thames.

But throughout its 60 year history, the beauty competition has attracted critics as well as fans.

This year was no different and campaign groups, including London Feminist Network, Object and UK Feminista, voiced their opposition to the 'sexist contest'.

A statement on the London Feminist Network website rallied women to join a protest they held at Earls Court while the competition was taking place.

A statement on their website said: 'Let the organisers and all those profiting from the event know that we are all angry that such an event is once again being held here in London.

'Bring placards, banners and raise your voice against this appalling offence against women's equality. Let them know loud and clear that this event has no place in London in 2011.'

But Miss England director Angie Beasley disagreed with their sentiments and said the contest 'had changed with the times' because it was no longer just about looking good in swimwear.

She said: 'There is a talent, sports and Beauty With A Purpose round, which is the fundraising round, in the contest and the girls love taking part.

'Yes they have to look great to win but it's so much more than a beauty contest.

These people should give it a chance instead of thinking it's just a bikini parade.

'I'm all for women standing up for what they believe in which is why I run Miss England but I'm fed up of these protesters trying to bully us and push us around.

'We live in a free society where women have the right to choose. The contestants in Miss World are quite capable of making up their own minds if they want to enter or not and protesters shouldn't keep criticising the same decision. If you don't like it, don't watch it.'

The message that the competition is now about brains as well as beauty was shown by figures that revealed out of this year's contestants, more than half are studying for a degree, one in four are graduates and more than half speak at least three languages.

The contest was also revealed to have the support of Nelson Mandela. He sent a message which was read out during the final sending his greetings to all the contestants and congratulating them on their efforts for charities.

TV presenter Bruce Forsyth also took to the stage with his wife, Wilnelia Merced, who was crowned Miss World in 1975, while dance group Diversity and boyband Blue performed for the worldwide audience.

In her new role, Miss Venezuela will now spend the year visiting and supporting a range of global charity projects supported by Miss World's Beauty With A Purpose programme.

It is an American comedy institution known for its biting satire of current events.

So it is no surprise the stars of Saturday Night Live decided they would get plenty of easy laughs spoofing Kim Kardashian's divorce.

It starts with a brief flashback to the wedding, before Kim announces: 'Whoopsies, I got divorced.'

The skit, which is hilariously named Kim's Fairytale Divorce, takes pops at the whole Kardashian clan.

Kim, who is played by Nasim Pedrad, is mocked due to her taste in men and her craving for attention.

She said: 'You guys, it has been really hard. All week we’ve just been crying and crying and posing and crying.

There is then a flashback to the wedding, where an apelike Kris Humphries, played by Andy Samberg, struggles to sign an X instead of his name on the marriage certificate.

Her stepfather is also mocked by Taran Killam, who ridicules Bruce Jenner's facelift by showing he cannot move his face.

But it was not the only skit where they were mocked, as during Weekend Update Seth Meyers said: 'Kim Kardashian on Monday filed for divorce from Kris Humphries, her husband of three episodes.'

In addition to Sandler's on-set shenanigans, Holmes can credit daughter Suri to the blast she had on set.

During her down time, the actress spent time with her 5-year-old mini-me, taking time to visit a petting zoo and play with rabbits.

The family also spent time in Florida while Tom filmed Rock of Ages with Russell Brand.

Katie was spotted enjoying the ocean with her daughter and has talked recently of all the places she wishes to visit with the youngster.

These are the first pictures of the baby at the centre of the Justin Bieber 'love child' scandal.

Fan Mariah Yeater claims the singer is the father of her four-month-old son Tristyn Anthony Markhouse Yeater and says the evidence is all in the little boys pout.

He vehemently denies the claim but has reportedly been summoned to attend a paternity test at Los Angeles Superior Court ten days before Christmas where he is expected to be ordered to undergo a paternity test.

Mariah, 20, who claims she had sex with the 17-year-old popstar backstage at one of his concerts, is seeking £170,000 from him in child support.

She says the resemblance to the singer and her son is uncanny.

She is seen cradling the adorable baby in a park in Los Angeles. The innocent fair-headed child is dressed in a white jumpsuit.

She told me: "No, I got pregnant before I left". But it didn't make sense because she had a doctor's note saying she wasn't pregnant enough for that to be possible.'

It has also emerged that Mariah got into a fight with John after he denied her allegations and she was arrested.

On the other man she claimed was the father, a friend said: 'Steve was her secret boyfriend for a long time. She said they made love twice. One of the times the condom broke, so she thought that might be when she got pregnant.'

The pair – who have just finished shooting the fifth and final Twilight film – have been lovers on and off screen since 2008.

Now, after dividing their time between London and LA, they are looking to set up home together but can’t agree on which side of the pond to build their nest.

‘Kristen wasn’t keen to settle in London at first, and Rob is no fan of LA,’ says a friend. ‘He still dreams about living the quiet West London life he had before he found fame. He likes his no-frills lifestyle and can’t be bothered to upgrade to a luxury home.

Kim Kardashian has placed herself under house arrest at a secret location to attempt to ride out the fallout from her divorce decision.

Sources close to the publicity-loving reality star have revealed that she will be staying indoors until she begins filming on the Tyler Perry movie, Marriage Counsellor.

That means she will miss her mother's birthday dinner, and brother-in-law Lamar Odom's birthday meal as well.

According to TMZ the attention surrounding her because of the divorce is too much for her, and she's laying low until it dies down.

Wearing a typically short mini dress that showed off her perfect pins and a pair of high heels, the 25-year-old also sported the eye catching sparkler on the third finger of her left hand.

Irina's ring appeared to be comprised a mound of diamonds, and obviously very expensive.

And it stole the limelight from her boyfriend, who was picking up the Golden Boot award for his outstanding goal tally last season in the Spanish La Liga.

The Portuguese international won today having been the top striker in all European leagues from 2010-2011.

He earned the Golden Boot award by breaking Hugo Sanchez's record with his 40 strikes.

In February this year Irina and Ronaldo were reported to be engaged after he apparently jetted all the way from Spain to New York to propose to the Russian beauty on Valentine's Day.

And reports in his native Portugal claimed the 25-year-old Russian may have been expecting their child.

Ever since she rapidly rose to fame by marrying 51-year-old actor Doug Hutchison, Courtney Stodden has had to fend off reports that her rather striking looks have been surgically enhanced.

But in a new effort to put the rumours to rest, the fame hungry 16-year-old pops in to Dr Drew's new show Lifechangers for a special ultrasound.

'I've had nothing. A knife has never touched this body,' Courtney tells Dr Drew Pinsky and plastic surgeon Dr John Diaz in a clip from the show, which airs in the U.S. on Monday.

'Let's do a full exam so we can lay this to rest,' Dr Drew tells the audience, as Courtney, wearing a hospital gown, is placed under a large blue sheet, with her towering black high heels dangling over the chair.

'If she's had plastic surgery, we're going to find out today,' proclaims Dr Diaz.

An assistant then prepares her for the special ultrasound, while viewers will have to wait until Monday's programme for the results.

Courtney wears her usual full make-up in the appearance with her 51-year-old actor husband.

With only five days to go before she is sent back to prison, the 25-year-old donned a baggy black cardigan over a beige skirt with just a hint of cleavage showing.

It is unlike her usual skimpy attire, including her sexy maid and nurse Halloween outfits over the weekend.

The platinum blonde star also appeared to have skipped on her usual fake tan which often leaves he with streaky arms and legs.

Her lips bright red lips looked fuller than usual, sparking speculation she had had collagen injections.

The actress reportedly stripped for Playboy yesterday.

But it said the shoot was the second for Lindsay after Hefner decided he wasn't happy with the first set of photos and hired a new photographer.

Sources told RadarOnline: 'Lindsay was told that the Playboy executives wanted to go another direction with her shoot so they asked her to come back for a second time.

Lindsay appeared happy and smiled for the waiting cameras yesterday despite being sentenced to 30 days in jail on Wednesday for violating her probation.

She is on probation after she was charged with the theft of a necklace reported stolen from a jewelry store in January.

The actress was sentenced to 120 days in jail but served her sentence under house arrest, wearing a tracking ankle monitor, for 35 days in May and June.

On Wednesday, Lindsay waived her rights at her probation violation hearing at the Los Angeles Superior Court Airport Branch and admitted the violation.

Judge Stephanie Sautner ordered the actress so surrender to the jail by Wednesday.

The star's lawyer, Shawn Holley, is understood to have told the judge in chambers that her client had a $1million contract with Hugh Hefner's publication.

As well as serving the jail time the actress must continue her community service at the Los Angeles county morgue.

But TMZ reported that she may serve just minutes behind bars.

A source within the Sheriff's Department told the website that if someone receives a misdemeanor sentence of 90 days or less, they are routinely processed in and then released.

Mariah Yeater's claims that Justin Bieber is the father of her baby may get her into hot water with the law.

Yeater, 20, could now come under investigation by Los Angeles police for 'statutory rape'.

Bieber would have been just 16-years-old during her alleged tryst with the singer, which she says resulted in the birth of her baby boy.

That would mean at the time Bieber was legally a minor.

Yesterday, a Los Angeles police commander said that his department could be investigating Yeater's claims.

The law states any person 'who engages in an act of unlawful sexual
intercourse with a minor who is not more than three years older or three years younger than the perpetrator, is guilty of a misdemeanor.'

At the time of the alleged encounter, Yeater had only just turned 19.

According to Associated Press, Cmdr. Andrew Smith said that no report has yet been taken about the incident, which allegedly occurred last October at the Staples Centre.

Yeater now wants Bieber to take a paternity test to ‘scientifically confirm’ he is the father of her three-month-old son, according to Star magazine in the U.S.

In court papers filed on Monday, she is also demanding Bieber 'provide adequate support for my baby'.

The phrase, which is considered by some to be offensive to American Indians, describes a person who gives a present and later wants it back.

And the comment has enraged many, with a spokesperson for the largest American Indian and Alaska Native organization in the country, The National Congress of American Indians labeling the remark ‘wrong and hurtful.’

Jenner said Kim's decision to file for divorce on Monday came 'after a lot of heartache.'

The 31-year-old was set to attend the Swisse vitamins marquee at Saturday's Stakes Day as part of Melbourne's annual spring carnival.

She was expected to earn more than $150,000 for the a one-hour appearance.

But Courtney Stodden decided to step out fresh-faced without her usual facial camouflage as she grabbed a coffee.

While she left off most of her slap her clothes for the casual caffeine run were as raunchy as ever and she donned a tiny cropped top and hot pants for the trip.

And instead of slipping on some comfy shoes, the teen bride donned a pair of sky-high patent black heels for the coffee run.

While Courtney appeared to be make-up free her fake tan was clearly visible on her skin.

And perhaps a cosy stroll for two through the streets of her hometown was exactly what Amanda Knox had in mind.

The 24-year-old clasped the hand of a mystery man who wrapped his arm around her shoulders as the pair went for a walk in Seattle on Tuesday.

While Miss Knox’s family insist romance is the last thing on her mind, the intimate body language between her and her companion suggested they could be more than just good friends.

Miss Knox returned from the Italian town of Perugia almost a month ago after a court overturned her conviction for the murder of British student Miss Kercher.

Friends flocking to see her after her four years in prison have included David Johnsrud, her boyfriend before she went to Italy on a student exchange programme.

But Amanda’s father, Curt, dismissed suggestions they were rekindling their romance and poured cold water on claims that Miss Knox was pining after Raffaele Sollecito, the Italian ex-boyfriend who was also released from jail last month.

And he insisted his daughter was not about to dive into another relationship, saying she simply developed close bonds with both male and female friends.

However, Miss Kercher’s father John called on ‘insensitive’ Miss Knox to keep a lower profile after she was photographed dressed as a cat burglar for a Halloween party.

During her first television interview since announcing her split on Monday, Kim would only give 'intuition' as the reason why she broke things off with her 26-year-old husband.

Asked by Sunrise breakfast hosts David Koch and Melissa Doyle on Thursday morning whether she fought to save the marriage, Kim responded: 'I think when you know so deep in your heart that you just to listen to your intuition and follow your heart, there's no right or wrong thing to do.'

A Justin Bieber superfan today proved her devotion to her idol - by tattooing the entire verse of one of his songs onto her leg.

Sarah Burgoyne, 24, from Bristol, had the lyrics from Bieber's 'Baby' engraved on her leg as part of a competition to win tickets to the MTV EMA 2011 awards where she would see her idol perform.

'I was desperate to win,' Burgoyne said, adding: 'There aren't many Justin Bieber fans as dedicated as me and this tattoo goes to prove it.'

The lyrics are tattooed neatly onto the girl's thigh in cursive script, along with a replica of the singer's signature

The choice of song is a little ironic considering the rumours swarming around the teenage pop star today, but Baby was Bieber's breakthrough hit.

MTV arranged for a Justin Bieber lookalike to attend the tattooing and to execute a replica of Justin Bieber's signature, which was then tattooed beneath the lyrics.

The contest - named What Would You Do For Music - challenged fans to show their dedication to music. Entrants were asked what they would be willing to do to get to the MTV EMA 2011 in Belfast on 6 November.

The winner was offered a VIP trip to Belfast to watch Justin Bieber perform alongside Lady Gaga, Jessie J and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

Burgoyne, who claims to be a diehard Bieber fan, didn't hesitate to rise to the challenge, and won a place in the finals with her stunt.

A second girl - Jo Edwards of Clapham, London - proved her dedication to Lady Gaga, by wearing a 4kg dress made of meat that mimicked that worn by her idol.

Reflecting on the bizarre challenge Jo Edwards commented 'I have to say that this was one of the strangest days of my life. It’s not every day that you get onto a packed tube wearing 4kg of raw meat. I don’t know what my colleagues thought of me turning up to work in the meat dress. I will probably not hear the end of this for a while but who cares, I am off to Belfast!'

The pair chose very different outfits with the Like I Love You singer opting for a casual look of dark blue jeans, black jumper, and a grey leather jacket.

Here is the first photo of the three-month-old baby a Californian woman has alleged was secretly fathered by the pop world's biggest teen idol, Justin Bieber.

Mariah Yeater, 20, is pictured on the cover of U.S. magazine Star with her son, Tristyn Anthony Markhouse Yeater, who was born on July 6.

In news which has stunned the world, the 17-year-old superstar has been named in a paternity lawsuit which she filed on October 31.

Yeater has asked the star to submit to a paternity test, and is asking Bieber 'to provide adequate support for my baby', the result of a tryst she alleged lasted no longer than 30 seconds.

In a legal statement, sworn under penalty of perjury, Yeater told a California court that Bieber propositioned her on October 25 of last year, when she was 19 after his concert and at L.A.'s Staples Center.

According to U.S. website Radar Online, Yeater told a judge: 'When I later realized I was pregnant with Justin Bieber's baby, I tried to contact him through his representatives but no one ever called me back.'

She stated: 'On July 6, 2011, I gave birth to a baby boy. That was exactly 36 weeks and two days after the sexual encounter with Justin Bieber.

'Based upon the timing as well as the fact there were no other possible men that I had sex with that could be the father of this baby, I believe that Justin Bieber is in fact the father of my baby.'

Bieber spoke out for the first time since the allegations emerged today.

He took to his Twitter page telling fans that he was choosing to ignore the rumours and rather concentrate on his music.

Bieber's spokesperson has vehemently denied the allegations, and told website Radar: 'While we haven't yet seen the lawsuit, it's sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims.

'We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations.'

Yeater wrote a detailed statement about meeting her idol in papers submitted to a Los Angeles court.

She claims she was approached by a security guard while seated in the front row of the star's concert and asked if she wanted to meet the singer backstage.

She said: 'Immediately, it was obvious that we were mutually attracted to one another, and we began to kiss.

'Shortly thereafter, Justin Bieber suggested that I go with him to a private place where we could be alone.

'I agreed to go with him and on the walk to a private area, he told me he wanted to make love to me and this was going to be his first time.

Yeater claims that after the encounter he refused to give her his phone number, and was 'not interested' in writing down her contact details.

She says that after learning she was pregnant she tried to get in touch with him via his representatives, but there was no response to her calls.

A court hearing is said to have been set for December 15.

They also adopted a dog together, whom they have named Baylor, from an animal rescue centre in Winnipeg on October 14.
